, I became a linguist: As a high school graduate, I was already fluent in English and French. Unsure about my professional path—torn between Psychology, International Business, and more—I decided to focus on my existing skills and pursued a degree in Translation. This philosophy of honing in on my strengths has guided me ever since.

, I became an instructor: Before completing my university studies, my professors encouraged me to substitute for them in their language courses. My first experience as an instructor was teaching French to fellow students, and I instantly fell in love with it.

, I committed to becoming the best instructor: Driven by my desire to excel in my teaching skills, I pursued a Master’s degree in Education.

, I became a home office customer service agent: Curiously, I had applied for an over-the-phone interpreter position just weeks before the lockdown. I was fortunate to keep my job and expand my skills to a broader range of customer service responsibilities.

, I became a leader and project manager. I was hired as Academic Coordinator for the Language Programs faculty I had once been part of. In this role, I managed several projects such as the implementation of an LMS methodology and the introduction of students to a new B-learning framework. k. Additionally, I worked on teacher training projects, student attraction initiatives, and score enhancement campaigns.

, I found the role of my life: The fusion of my customer service, administrative, and instructional experience opened my eyes to a new commitment: I wanted to develop myself in the L&D domain for businesses, rather than academic contexts, because: I aim to see the impact of my teaching reflected in business strategies.

My language skills have also expanded my horizons internationally. I moved to Mérida, Yucatán, where I was invited to explore the wonders of Instructional Design as a full-time job—and I fell in love with it.

I’ve come to understand that I maximize my potential when working within a project management framework. I am currently pursuing project management certifications to empower myself and align with the work routine that motivates me most. Working as a Customer Success Team Lead, I have discovered my passion for dedicating my daily schedule to concrete goals and objectives, working with deadlines and KPIs, and I am preparing for activities that involve producing, creating, and innovating.
